Info and Registration

In order to become a certified instructor, you must successfully complete the Level One Certification course. This course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of Art Clay Silver. The curriculum consists of seven different projects and covers a wide variety of techniques. Some of the techniques include use of organic forms, creating flat and round-shank rings, addition and firing of gemstones, creating a mirror finish, and much more. This course provides general and technical information, as well as some helpful teaching guidelines.

Upon successful completion of this course, you are entitled to:

  1. 30% discount on Art Clay Silver Series products
  2. Teach Art Clay Introductory classes
  3. Take the Senior Level Certification Course

Learn Enameling on Silver Clay with Art Clay Master Pam East! This is a 4-day workshop.   We will use Art Clay Silver to create champleve pieces, and then add cloisonne elements during the enameling phase.  

Art Clay Silver Topics will include designing for enamel, proper handling and construction techniques, firing and finishing.

Enameling Topics include metal and enamel preparation, dealing with color reaction on silver, foils, applying wet enamels, adding cloisonne elements, Enamel firing, graduated shading techniques, and finishing.

    During this 8-week course workshop you will learn successful silver clay construction, how to prepare metal for enameling, enamel preparation and application, How to get crystal clear results, graduated shading, and finishing.

      This is an 8-week course held on Thursdays.  Innovative copper and bronze clays contain pure metal powder mixed with an organic binder, allowing you to work it like clay. It can be molded, sculpted, rolled, textured, and more. The binders burn away when fired, leaving pure metal. Make earrings, pendants, and other jewelry, guided in topics including molding the clay, construction techniques, firing, and finishing. All levels welcome.

        Introduction to Art Clay Silver

        Learn keum-boo, the art of applying gold foil to silver clay, in this fun two-day intro workshop. You will learn how to create a pair of earrings and a pendant in silver clay with keum-boo in mind, Firing, adding gold foil, patina and polishing. No prior experience with metal clay required. Great class for both beginners and experienced students who want to expand their skill set!

        Class fee includes the use of all Pam's tools and equipment. Students do not need to bring anything.
