Create beautiful pendants using Art Clay, Silver and watercolor enamels. Paint pre-enameled steel sheets with the watercolor enamels, which allow for a "painterly" approach and are quick, easy, and fun to use. Frame them with Art Clay Silver to make the pendant. This medium is easy to manipulate, like clay, and fires to fine silver. You'll be amazed! All levels welcome; no experience required.

    Learn Enameling on Art Clay Silver with Pam East! This is a full week workshop. Art Clay Silver Topics will include designing for enamel, Photo-polymer, proper handling and construction techniques, firing and finishing. Enameling Topics include metal and enamel preparation, dealing with color reaction on silver, foils, applying wet enamels, adding cloisonne elements, Enamel firing, graduated shading techniques, and finishing.

                  Explore the exciting world of silver clay. Silver clay is .999 pure silver powder mixed with organic binders allowing you to work it like clay. It can be molded, sculpted, rolled, textured, and more. The binder burns away when fired, leaving pure silver. Learn and master the fundamentals of metal clay, including a variety of construction techiques, firing and finishing. This course is intended for beginner to intermediate students and should be taken multiple times before moving on to Intermediate/Advanced classes

                    Enameling is the art of applying glass to metal. Learn how to create deep, rich color on your metal clay work with glass enamels. Topics will include metal clay construction techniques, graduated shading, Finishing and more! Metal clay experience helpful but not required. A Materials fee of $75 is PAYABLE TO THE INSTRUCTOR at the first session. This fee covers enamels, enameling supplements and the use of instructor provided tools and equipment for the semester. It does not include metal clay.
